A Rose like you've never had, this oxidised, creamy, brown, electric, nutty wine has a big whack of Creaming Soda notes (the brown one not the pink shit) and a bitter Vermouth-esque finish. A favourite wine amongst the POOL boys in a while.

Inspired by a forgotten barrel of muscat at the previous winery I worked at which saw no topping or sulphur sheerly out of not knowing of its existence. I was blown away by how the typical musky intensity of the grape seemed to be eaten up by the constant contact with oxygen in the barrel, leaving the most interesting creamy, savoury Rose I'd ever tasted. An experiment that tested my restraint saw the juice put straight to 3 barriques, only monitored during primary fermentation and then bunged up and purposefully forgotten about over the following 4 seasons. - TF
First tasted in May, the 3 barrels were blended and promptly bottled with an aim to trap its electric energy. It has a seemingly fragile nature however, due to it's long relationship with oxygen if opened over a day or two it slowly evolves through many different levels and styles. It's VERY much alive.
