2022 BITTER BONES

An energy-filled light red. Can definitely go either room temp or chilled. Made from floating Shiraz berries in Cab Franc juice. All from the same vineyard, we tasted them on the day and this was the right combo to get the fruity zest of the shiraz and the deep flavour and bitterness of the Franc. No sulphur or any additives like the rest of our wines.

- 50% Shiraz 50% Cab Franc from Redesdale, VIC

- Shiraz berries floated in Cab Franc direct pressed juice

- Wild ferment

- Pressed through basket press

- Elevage in old oak for 10 months in Carlton 

- Bottled Jan 23, 2023

- No sulphur at any stage, no additives of any kind

- No fining or filtering
